This first collaboration with Piedmont Fibershed found its homes faster than we imagined. It now stands as the beginning of our Heritage Collaboration Offerings — a shared path of cloths crafted with regional fibers, heritage looms, and deep intention.


Buttery soft and cozy organic cotton. Generously sized 9.5-10 inches wide by 66-70 inches long plus 3 inches of velvety fringe. Collaboratively created by weaver and minister Chris Nygren of Joyfaring and Bethany Dittmar, weaver and studio manager of the Piedmont Fibershed Makerspace. 

  • Very first edition. Only ten in each design. Each scarf is individually numbered.
  • Handwoven on vintage production looms.
  • Made of U.S.-grown-and-spun organic cotton and rescued European linen from a mill no longer in business.

Ways to use your Sacred Scarf

Set an intention: Wrap it around your shoulders or place it where you begin your day.

Frame a space: Place it on a table, desk, or bedside as a reminder of what you’re holding close.

Create a quiet ritual: Fold it around a letter, photo, or object that holds meaning for you. 

Care: Machine wash cold by itself using the gentle cycle, or gently hand wash and roll in a towel to absorb the water. Machine dry on medium. Steam press if needed.
