The Haven Shawl is handwoven to offer steadiness, warmth, and a sense of being well held. Made of soft, drapey, undyed organic U.S. cotton and undyed rescued European linen. This shawl carries the Lattice Motif - an interlocking pattern of diamond shapes that creates strength through relationship. Each element meets the next, forming a structure that is resilient, balanced, and quietly supportive.

The Lattice Motif

This Haven Shawl is part of Joyfaring’s Heritage Collaborative Offerings: pieces handwoven through partnership, care, and respect for material origins. This scarf is co-created with the Piedmont Fibershed and woven on vintage hand weaving production looms.

Size: approximately 26” x 76” + fringe

Natural Fibers: 

• Undyed organic cotton grown in Texas and spun in North Carolina
• Undyed rescued European linen reclaimed from a closed mill

The fibers are in their natural state with subtle variations in color and texture.

Made in small artisan batches as part of a collaborative weaving practice.

Each shawl varies slightly. Variations are not flaws, they are the mark of a cloth made by hand.
